Directions from Austin-Bergstrom Airport to Comfort Suites/Round Rock

Round Rock is about 30 miles from the airport (a 30-45 minute trip depending on traffic)... Austin's been under quite a bit of construction lately (several new toll roads have been put in), which can get a little confusing... BUT no fear! The following directions should get you to the Comfort Suites in Round Rock fast and easy... well, easy anyway ;)

When you exit the airport, turn LEFT

Follow the signs for 183 North/Downtown

Continue following the signs for 183 North/Lampasas

When you see the sign for Cameron Road 1/2 Mile, take the next exit

Exit 35/Lamar Blvd and stay in the right lane

Turn RIGHT at the stoplight toward 35 North

Stay in your left lane on the frontage road to enter the freeway

Stay on 35 North all the way to Round Rock

When you see 35 Business/NcNeil Road, you will take the next exit
Exit #252B to 620

Turn LEFT at the stoplight

Get in your right lane and go through one more stoplight

Then turn into Wendy's (LOL, really)

And turn right like you're going to the drivethru, BUT look for the exit into an alley (on your right). Take the exit and turn LEFT... It will bring you to the Comfort Suites entrance (Comfort Suites is at the NW corner of 35 & 620).

Single Digits!!!

Woo Hoo! We're in the single digits! In case you don't know... that's kind of a big deal. That means we're on the weather forecasts. You can count that on two hands. That's less sides than two pentagons. That's less days than there are seasons of Friends. Yeah...

Choi and I are finishing up very productive weeks before we go on leave. If you can believe that you're gulible. We're just trying to get out of the office before they realize that we're going to be gone for three weeks. Here's to limited size email boxes!!!!

Weather report is looking like a beautiful early spring texas day. You won't need your rain cover on your cowboy hat!!! YYYEEEEHHAAWWW!!! You could probably even wear shorts if you're use to 40 degree weather like I am. I've heard there's this big yellow thing that moves across the sky that you guys from WA probably haven't seen in a while that lives in TX.

Today Choi celebrated her last Bday as a single woman. Today also marks 28 days until I get to be the reason for this monumental occasion. As the time gets short I hope you are all getting excited for a wicked crazy party. Keep the RSVPs coming!!!

Party Bus!!! (a.k.a. Charter Van)

Good news, Everyone! On 7 March, there will be a 29 passenger shuttle running from the Comfort Suites in Round Rock to the Camp Mabry Chapel, from the chapel to the reception at Casa Blanca, then back to the hotel after the festivities that night... So no need to worry about getting lost in a new city! Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride... Unless, of course, you'd enjoy that bit of extra excitement ;) The van will pick guests up at the hotel lobby. More specific departure/arrival times are in the works, so stay tuned ;)
